How You Opt In
You receive an SMS from a CallWaiting.ai-powered business only when all three of the following occur:
- You place an inbound call to a business using CallWaiting.ai
- During the call, you verbally request information by text — such as a menu, hours, address, or booking confirmation
- The AI receptionist verbally states your phone number and asks you to confirm before sending
No SMS is ever sent without your explicit request. You are never added to a marketing list.
Message Types
Messages sent via CallWaiting.ai are strictly transactional and may include:
- Business hours and location information
- Menu or service details you requested
- Reservation or appointment confirmations
- Order confirmations and status updates
- Follow-up information from your call
We do not send promotional, marketing, or unsolicited messages.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Typically 1 message per inbound call where you request information by text. You will not receive recurring automated messages unless you request them.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out at any time by replying to any message. Standard keywords:
After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Reply START at any time to re-subscribe.
